Once booked the hirer remains liable for the full cost of the hire even if unforeseen circumstances prevent you taking your holiday or the available holiday having to be modified due to such events as, but not limited to, the boat hired not being available due to circumstances beyond the companies control, the anticipated cruising grounds being reduced or suspended, cancellation due to environmental events such as flooding, incidents preventing navigation of anticipated waterways including the need for the C&RT to undertake unscheduled repairs to the waterways or their failure of C&RT or their sub-contractors for whatever reason completing scheduled works on time. Whilst Starline Narrowboats will make every effort to re-let the boat we strongly recommend that you obtain travel insurance that covers the cost of the holiday in these circumstances. |
